Students who meet the criteria may apply by submitting a completed application form to Acaydia and paying an application fee of $50. Applicants must attach proof of education (as stated above) or ability to benefit, a copy of the applicant’s driver license or government-issued identification, two passport photos, two letters of recommendation, and a personal statement of intent.
Upon submission of the application materials, each applicant will be contacted by an Acaydia representative for a phone interview. Selected applicants will be scheduled for a personal interview with the Acaydia School Director at a mutually convenient time.
Acaydia space is limited. After the application process is completed, Acaydia will notify the applicant in a timely manner as to whether he or she is accepted into the program. Acaydia maintains a rolling admissions program. This means acceptance decisions are made as the applications are submitted. Once the incoming class is 80 percent filled, however, Acaydia will wait until the application deadline to make determinations on the remaining class.
Early-admitted students must make a timely deposit to guarantee a seat prior to the admissions deadline. All admitted students must complete and sign the Acaydia enrollment agreement prior to the first day of class.
Acaydia considers many factors in deciding which students to accept, such as professionalism, prior achievements, and dedication. The school in no way discriminates on the basis of race, religion, gender, color, sexual orientation, age, disability, marital status, ethnicity, or national origin in admitting students.
TRANSFER STUDENTS
Acaydia accepts transfer students from equivalent institutions on a case-by-case basis. In addition to completing Acaydia’s entrance requirements above, transferring students must submit a certified transcript of hours accumulated at the previous institution. All transfer students are required to purchase the Acaydia student kit and pay appropriate application and registration fees; however, tuition will be charged proportionate to the number of clocked hours remaining. Transfer students must satisfactorily complete all other graduation requirements.
Acaydia does not recruit students already attending or admitted to other schools offering similar programs of study.
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT
In order to receive a certificate of completion or a diploma for any course, students must complete a minimum 25 percent of the required coursework and clocked hours at the Acaydia School of Aesthetics.
ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT
Acaydia provides each accepted student with an enrollment agreement prior to matriculation. The agreement is designed to clearly inform students of the financial obligations, standards and policies for which they will be accountable at Acaydia. All students are required by state and NACCAS regulations to sign the agreement before classes begin.
Payment for tuition and course fees must be made prior to matriculation unless the student qualifies for a payment plan option. Acaydia accepts all forms of payment. Scholarships or tuition credits may be available for qualifying students.
